Closer to the root

I am so happy to have dance class with my favorite teacher 

Issa Cissoko again! 

He knows more than anyone else I've found about the meanings 

and history of the dances. 

He's 49 years old (doesn't look close to that age!) has spent much time dancing professionally and traveling to the villages to study the dances & their meanings.

I am hoping with time I will be able to get to more ceremonies in the villages.

I keep digging to get closer to the root.
