Start the journey from Salt Lake to New York City to Paris to Bamako.
It takes 2 full days to get there.

At JFK I had a layover long enough to take the two trains and walk down to Times Square. A street officer approached me and we had a fun conversation. He is from Ghana. I told him about the drum circle last night to start the well fund. 

The drum party was a huge success and fun. Everyone there gave generously. We raised over $600 together. That is an incredible start. The well and pump will cost $6,500 in total.
